Allen Gabriel MD, FACS is a board-certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. Dr. Gabriel’s educational background includes a BS with Honors and Distinction in chemistry from University of Utah and an MD from University of Nevada, where he served as the graduating class president and received multiple awards for his leadership activities, research, and community outreach to support the medically indigent population.

Dr. Gabriel is one of the few medical students in the country to have received the prestigious Humanism in Medicine Award, which lead to the creation of the University of Nevada’s Humanism in Medicine Honor Society, of which Dr. Gabriel is still an active member.
Dr. Gabriel completed his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center. During his six years of training, he continued to foster his passion for helping patients in need and advancing his research. He was involved in numerous mission trips around the world, received several awards for his research and was elected into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society.

In 2007, Dr. Gabriel was selected by world-renowned plastic surgeon Dr. G. Patrick Maxwell to enter a Breast and Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship. During this period, both plastic surgeons advanced plastic surgery education with their research and pioneered the use of BOTOX in relieving pain following mastectomy and breast reconstruction.

Currently Dr. Gabriel is the Associate Professor of Surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center and in private practice in Vancouver, Washington. He has authored more than ten dozen abstracts, manuscripts and book chapters and continues to share his knowledge both nationally and internationally. He remains involved with community outreach supporting breast cancer patients and participating in third world country mission trips. He is the co-founder of Pink Lemonade Project which educates and supports those affected by breast cancer. He is a member of American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of American College of Surgeons and is a reviewer of several medical journals.
